This course provides a very first introduction to Spanish and is best suited for younger students interested in exploring the Spanish language for the first time. Classes are fun, interactive and dynamic, and include songs, games, and movement to facilitate learning.
Topics covered in this course may include:
- Greetings and Good-byes
- Food & Drinks
- Animals
- Colors
- Numbers 0-100
- Body parts
- Telling Time
- Days, months, seasons and the weather
- Locations
- Classroom items
Cost is $25/class.
Sibling discount $20/class (both siblings).

FALL CLASSES 2025
GRADES 5th - 10th
Tuesdays 10 am or

FOUNDATIONAL SPANISH LANGUAGE LAB
Conversational practice and games for students enrolled in a Foundational Spanish class.
Wednesdays 10 am
This course is an introductory course, geared for older students to develop an understanding of the basics of the Spanish language. The Junior Foundational Spanish class is for continuing Spanish students who are ready to take their learning to the next level. Particular emphasis is placed on using Spanish in conversation with others as well as building the tools necessary to become successful learners in a foreign language. Through this course, students will be introduced to the foundations of speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing in Spanish.
Topics include:
- Greetings and Good-byes
- Discussing things you like and dislike doing
- Personality traits
- Present tense basic verb conjugations
- Answering yes/no and open-ended questions
- Classroom items
- Locations and directions
Topics of the extended course include:
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods
- Discussing health
- Names of places
- Discussing where you go and why
- Questions and Question words
Cost is $25/class.

Spanish for Spanish Speakers
FALL CLASSES 2025
Grades 1st and up
Wednesdays 11 am
This course is designed for students who have already had exposure to the Spanish language at home or through a dual immersion school. The goal of the course is to strengthen student's abilities in reading and writing as well as grow in their grammatical knowledge of the language. In this course students will learn:
- Phonetics
- Spelling rules and techniques
- Reading comprehension
- Grammatical basics of the language
- Verb conjugations
- Much, much more
This course is open to students grades 1st and up who have solid speaking abilities in Spanish.
