Classes are semester length.
Fall semester: August 25th through December 18th, with no classes November 13th - 17th.
Spring semester: January 5th through May 28th, with no classes April 12th - 16th.
All classes are 45 minutes long. Times are listed in Pacific Time.
Classes are all non-sectarian.

LEVEL 1: Tues. 11 am, Weds. 1 pm, and/or Thurs. 10 am
LEVEL 2: Tues. 9 am and/or Weds. 10 am
This course provides a very first introduction to Spanish and is best suited for younger students interested in exploring the Spanish language for the first time. Classes are fun, interactive and dynamic, and include songs, games, and movement to facilitate learning.
Topics covered in this course may include:
- Greetings and Good-byes
- Food & Drinks
- Animals
- Colors
- Numbers 0-100
- Body parts
- Telling Time
- Days, months, seasons and the weather
- Locations
- Classroom items
Cost is $35/class.

FALL CLASSES 2026
LEVEL 1: Tues. 9 am and/or Weds. 11 am
LEVEL 2: Tues. 1 pm and/or Thurs. 2 pm
The Junior Foundational Spanish class is for continuing Spanish students who are ready to take their learning to the next level as well as for new students who already have a background in Spanish. In this course, students will learn the foundational aspects of the Spanish language in a fun, conversational, academic and supportive environment. They will practice grow in their conversational abilities as well as their comprehension. Particular emphasis is also placed on learning the alphabet, how to spell, read and write in Spanish!
Level 1 topics may include:
- Review on Greetings and Good-byes
- Discussing things you like and dislike doing
- Personality traits
- Answering yes/no and open-ended questions
Level 2 topics may include:
- Subject Pronouns
- Learning how to conjugate verbs ending in -ar
- Answering questions using various verb conjugations
- Discussing school subjects
- Discussing the location of things including school items

Foundational Spanish
Grades 5th -12th
FALL CLASSES 2026
LEVEL 1: Tues. 2 pm or Thurs. 11 am
LEVEL 2: Thurs. 1 pm
Level 1 Foundational Spanish is an introductory course, geared for older students to develop an understanding of the basics of the Spanish language. level 2 foundational Spanish builds upon the material taught in Level 1, which is a pre-requisite. In these classes, particular emphasis is placed on using Spanish in conversation with others as well as building the tools necessary to become successful learners in a foreign language. Through this course, students will be introduced to and strengthen the foundations of speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing in Spanish.
Level 1 topics may include:
- Greetings and Good-byes
- Discussing things you like and dislike doing
- Personality traits
- Present tense basic verb conjugations
- Answering yes/no and open-ended questions
- Classroom items
- Locations and directions
Level 2 course may include:
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods
- Discussing health
- Names of places
- Discussing where you go and why
- Questions and Question words
Cost is $35/class.
